Out in AI started because LGBTQ+ technologists, founders, and researchers shouldn't have to be the only queer person in their lab, their cap table, or their team. We're building that community now — out loud, in real cities, with real people. And we're looking for founding members to help shape what comes next.
We do this three ways. We gather, in person and online, so no one has to be the only queer person in the room. We connect, so jobs, mentorship, and capital flow through our network. And we build — together — so the systems shaping the next era of computing reflect all of us.
Out in AI is run by volunteers — engineers, researchers, founders, and organizers giving their nights and weekends to make this work.

We're building Out in AI from the ground up — and looking for people who want to help shape it from day one. Founding members help launch chapters, host events, write the playbook, and define what this community becomes.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
